Penghargaan bergensi Golden Joystick Awards telah diselenggarakan. Acara tersebut telah mengumumkan para pemenang dari masing-masing nominasi telah mereka siapkan. Ada sebanyak 24 nominasi pemenang yang telah mereka umumkan, termasuk juga nominasi paling dinantikan oleh semua orang, yaitu Ultimate Game of the Year 2024. Golden Joystick Awards mengumumkan bahwa game Black Myth Wukong menang nominasi sebagai Ultimate Game of the Year 2024. Game buatan Science Game ini berhasil memenangkan nominasi tersebut dalam menghadapi banyak pesaingnya yang merupakan game populer, seperti Astro Bot, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Silent Hill 2 Remake, dan masih banyak lagi.
Selain pengumuman nominasi Ultimate Game of the Year 2024, Golden Joystick Awards juga turut mengumumkan pemenang nominasi lainnya yang telah mereka persiapkan. Ada banyak nama video game, developer, maupun Voice Actor yang populer dalam industri ini.
